London, England (November 14, 2012) – TWO of the UK’s top featherweights will collide on the Cage Warriors 50 prelims when the organisation visits Scotland for the first time next month.

Turner (20-7), who’s ranked sixth in the UK, will be aiming for his third consecutive win having recently captured titles on two separate promotions.
The 24-year-old Scot defeated Adam Stevenson in September to clinch the Vision FC lightweight title, before adding the On Top featherweight strap by submitting Gianluca Scottoli last month.
A member of the Dinky Ninjas camp, Turner has won 12 of his last 14 bouts, with the only losses coming at the hands of the UFC’s Akira Corassani and Cage Warriors veteran Matteus Lahdesmaki.
Beer (13-4), a native of Cwmbran in Wales, will be appearing on a Cage Warriors card for the first time since making his professional debut in 2008.
Ranked 13th in the UK, the 35-year-old defeated two-time UFC veteran Dave Hill to win the UCMMA featherweight title last year. Beer is also a former Shock ‘N’ Awe title holder.
More Cage Warriors 50 bouts will be announced in the coming days.
