OK its now 12 days or so from when I had my fight at UCMMA in the Troxy and I’m still feeling good about it. but more on the way i cut to LW i dropped 15kg in 8 weeks I stared of by flying out to Thailand to train for 3 weeks with Lamai Muaythai Camp in Koh Samui. All the thanks to my new sponsor MMA Holidays paying and just telling my to just train the 3 weeks was not easy the guys in the camp are hard and very fit we trained twice a day with a 40 min run before the two hour session. Lamai Muaythai have world class fighters form Thailand and around the world training in the gym plus world class trainers on hand to run the sessions I must say a big thank you to all the guys in Thailand and all the guys that travelled with MMA Holidays on the trip to Thailand the next trip to thailand is in April check out www.mmaholdays.co.uk

When I returned to England I meet up with a good old friend who is a world class personal trainer from Brazil his name is Alvaro Da Silva one of the best guys in the business. He helped me cut 15kg and helped me with all my fitness and conditioning training. I had to run 10k 5 times a week that was one of the main things I had to add to my training and completely change my intake of food and drink it was hard but enjoyable at times. I had some days when I just did not pick up the phone to him as I just did not have the get up and go at times. But he helped me to get the job done and I thank him so muck for that. Check him out on www.alvaro-pt.co.uk and thanks to all the guys and trainers that have pushed me at Bandogs MMA everyday I need to give them a big thank you. They all help me everyday and could see the change in me and could not believe that I could cut to 70kg as they all know how muck I love my food.
In regards to the fight, to me it went how it should have lol. It was to quick. I at least needed to feel myself at 70kg for at least 5 min. But the killer in me just knows its all about getting in and out as fast as you can. That’s the right thing to do no matter who you are fighting, but yes I’m happy on how i performed every second of it. Now its on to the next one. I do not have a date yet but I’m back in training and having talks with peoples on my next move. I have 3 organisation asking me to come on the show and fight for them but I’m not rushing into anything for now. I have some time to sit on and make the right move. My fans will be seeing more of me at LW in 2013 and i must say thanks to Andy for taking the fight. No one picked up there phone when Dave the Daddy of UK MMA was calling around but now I’m looking at the top two in the LW division at UCMMA. I need a target when training but we will see what 2013 brings.
Outside the cage I’m still pushing the Hands Up Guns Down movement its all voluntary work that I do. We try and help people to move away from the gun and knife crime. Getting them out of gangs and getting them to focus on some thing else. Not just mma that can do any thing we have mentors and role models that have had the same issues and have change for the good. I’m looking to set but a and work with some people to set up work shops around London. I will get back to you on this as this is all volunteer, so i hope by mid 2013 we will have it running i hope
So I just like to thank you and everyone at H2HK. All the fans for there support, UCMMA for putting on a great show as all ways. Everyone at all the gym’s that I was training in for this fight. My family for putting up with me every day until the day of the fight and all my sponsor’s and I will see you all soon…
HANDS UP GUNS DOWN!!!!!
